• Do not need a common denominator.
• When multiplying fractions you multiply the numerators together and then multiply the denominators together.
• When multiplying a mixed number you need to first change change them to an improper fraction and then multiply.
• When dividing fractions find the multiplicative inverse of the second fraction and then multiply.
• When dividing mixed numbers change to improper fractions first.
